Buying From Us
All our leather armour is handmade in the UK and while we may hold some in stock this is not always the case. On receipt of your order we will contact you to give you an estimated date of despatch. Items will not be despatched until full payment has cleared. If you have a specific deadline requirement please advise us and we will accommodate where possible.
We use a wide range of natural materials and some variations in colour and finish may occur. Leather in particular may display scars and markings which are part of the natural beauty of the product.
Leather is an organic material and although the tanning process can help to preserve it, if given the wrong environment or treated badly, leather can mould, mildew and decay.
Suedes and dyed leathers can transfer colours to other items or clothing, especially when wet. New suedes are subject to "crocking", which means suede dust may rub off on hands and clothes. Crocking can be minimized by rubbing any new suede vigorously with a terry towel.
Where we use fur we aim to use pelts that are recycled or come as a by-product or cull. Our view is that it's better that the whole of the animal is used and respected rather than disposed of. We choose ethical suppliers and will not use anything from protected species or of unknown origin.
